Wanna know the secret about remedies for panic attacks?

I’ll bet that no matter how hard you try to have a panic attack right now, you won’t be able to. You’re probably thinking that this is one of the most ridiculous remedies for a panic attack that you’ve heard and sure, it sounds scary to call a panic attack to you, but give it a go and see what happens.

By deciding to invite a panic attack to you, you are controlling your fear of the panic. You are saying that you are not afraid of it and by doing that, you are eliminating the anxiety that comes with it.

No anxiety, no panic attacks.

If you want help for panic attacks and cures for anxiety this is a crucial concept to understand. Consider this: if you see your anxiety as if you were standing on a cliff, then a panic attack would be a force pushing you closer to the cliff’s edge. A panic attack can push you closer to falling off the cliff when you try to cope with it by talking yourself out of having a panic attack.

But, if you turn around and face your fear (the panic attack) and dare it to push at you, you are able to firmly stand your ground on the cliff’s edge, but never being at risk of falling over. When you invite a panic attack to come to you, you are standing your ground and facing your fear.

Another way you could look at your cliff is to consider that by facing your fear of the panic attack, you are jumping off the cliff, with no fear as to what will happen to you, because nothing will happen.

It’s the same thing with inviting a panic attack: you know it will not happen. You are telling all your anxieties that nothing can happen to you from your fears and that nothing bad will happen to you by facing your fears.

Panic attacks will not harm you. This is not just what you tell yourself, this is a medical fact. You cannot die from a panic attack, no matter what your body may be telling you. You may not feel good during a panic attack, but you will not be hurt. So coping with panic attacks that scares you so much becomes nothing more than a mild nuisance that will quickly pass and leave you whole and unhurt.

Other than being panicked, there was nothing wrong with you and that can help you to deal with the fear of having a panic attack.

So today, before you step out of the house, you go ahead and invite yourself to have a panic attack, knowing full well that even if one were to come, you would escape healthy and unharmed.

Physically, you will suffer no adverse effects from your panic attack and you can feel confident that it cannot hurt you. It’s like the dark. Shadows are just shadows, so go ahead, open your eyes. There is nothing to fear anymore.

Remedies for Panic Attacks: Discover Tricks for Coping With Panic Attacks

Are you desperately searching for remedies for panic attacks? Do you wish you knew the trick to coping with panic attacks? Does the idea of a panic attack make you want to panic? Does it seem like you’re nearly paralyzed with the fear that you will have a panic attack? Once you’ve had a panic attack, you worry that you might have another one at any second. The fear is that you’ll have another panic attack and that it could push you over the edge. The idea of another panic attack is so scary that many people alter their whole lives so that they don’t have to worry about having another one. Maybe you’ve looked all over for remedies for panic attacks and cures for anxiety and found nothing that helps you, but still you look, as you should.

If you suffer from panic attacks, the act of everyday living can become really, really scary to you. You might become afraid of driving, leaving the safe zone of your home or any situation that draws attention to you and your actions. Think about this:

Would you think I was nuts? Probably. But, hear me out. By wanting to have a panic attack, you are immediately stopping the fearful anticipation of the event itself. Suddenly, the likelihood that you could suffer a panic attack right at this moment dwindles to nothing.

There is a saying that goes: what you resist persists. This is how you can look at your fears. By resisting a fearful situation, that situation will persist.

If the remedies for panic attacks are so simple, how do you stop resisting your fears?  By getting directly in the face of that which makes you anxious and stopping your fear from persisting because you get rid of it by confronting it. In other words, your fear of having a panic attack cannot grow if you are asking for a panic attack.   It just won’t happen because you are inviting it, instead of dreading it.

Stopping Panic Attacks Symptoms for Good; Use These Tips For Panic Attacks

Do you ever feel like all of the top doctors and psychologists teach outdated methods for dealing with your general anxiety and panic attacks symptoms?  Every time you turn around, do you find another expert giving tips for panic attacks and claiming that you can cure your anxiety by thinking happy thoughts and breathing into a paper bag?

Are you feeling more than a little discouraged by this?

Maybe the anxiety experts have never really experienced anxiety and don’t really know anything about stopping panic attacks.  Sometimes, it seems like they don’t even get the panic attack symptoms right, so how can they know how to stop them?

How are you supposed to get over your anxiety issues if you’re always told the same old tips for panic attacks that don’t work?  What didn’t work before won’t work now, so why keep trying it?  When I was looking for a solution to my panic attacks, I encountered the same thing over and over.  Over and over I tried these same methods and over and over, they just didn’t work.

I was frustrated and felt alone.

I used to be generally anxious and would suffer from frequent panic attacks.  I was a freshman in college when I had my first one and my panic attacks became a regular occurrence.  Since I had no idea what panic attack symptoms were, I automatically thought I had developed a health issue and thought that my world was crashing down around me.  For a year all I did was worry about my panic attacks:  where would I be when it happened?  What would I be doing?  What if I had one during an exam?

As I worried about having panic attacks, I caused myself to be anxious all the time.

I walked around terrified of my panic attacks symptoms.  I researched causes, tried cures and ways of stopping panic attacks, I was getting desperate.  I learned about the triggers of panic attacks, but none of that knowledge helped me to get rid of them.

The only advice for how to deal with panic attacks I got was to use coping techniques and over time, if I was lucky, the anxiety might leave.  Not a very uplifting diagnosis.

My friends and family were worried about me, but there was nothing I could do.  I felt like nothing was real, like I was unattached from the world and it was all caused by my anxiety.  I couldn’t connect with anything anymore, because I was caught up in thinking all kinds of scary things all the time.  I even began seeing a therapist, and was prescribed almost every possible medication during that period.  Still, I didn’t want to take anxiety medication because I still felt that I could overcome this problem on my own.

Just as I was beginning to feel like nothing would help, I stumbled across the solution to my panic attacks, it was the cures for anxiety I was searching for.  I found a technique, a product that promoted me to do the opposite of what all the experts said to do.  I stopped my panic attacks cold.  Suddenly, I felt free, but skeptical.  Still, I kept trying the new technique and it kept working for me.  Each time I applied the technique it worked.

In order to learn how to deal with panic attacks, its important to know that panic attacks thrive on your fear of them. You can an will stop panic attacks, you just have to learn first that you can’t shy away from them, you have to stand up to them. I know this for a fact because I personally have suffered through many panic episodes before I got a handle on the situation. I can help you.

By being afraid that you will have a panic attack, you are constantly tense and nervous that one will find you any time, but if you relax and tell your panic attack to “bring it on”, you are taking away the very thing that fuels panic attacks and that’s fear.

In fact its fear that fuels all types of anxieties, and the best cures for anxiety are to face it straight on. The best way to attack anxiety and depression, including panic attacks, is to look it straight in the face and demand that a really severe panic attack come to you. As funny as that sounds this is one of the most fundamental anxiety tips I know, it really works.

Try it, right now.

No fear.

Be brave and strong and see if you wind up with a panic attack. For this to really work, though, you need to be 100% committed to not being afraid anymore. You cannot be telling your panic attack to “bring it on,” but be thinking, “oh please don’t come.” Instead, you need to dare it to show it’s ugly face in your presence anymore, then walk tall, because you know that it won’t come anywhere near you anymore.

Everyone has to travel through the fog, but it’s how well you do this traveling that determines how you deal with anxiety, and how to deal with panic attacks.  If you don’t keep moving, then you are stuck in the fog called anxiety and you will be stuck living with your fear.

We all know there is more to life than being afraid, so start living and doing all the things you want to do and stop being afraid.

Cures For Anxiety: Finding Cures For Panic Attacks That Work

There are almost no differences between cures for panic attacks and cures for anxiety.  Did you know that how severe your panic attack is depends on how you feel at the time it takes place?  That’s right, your body and mind play a big role in how you feel.  If you are emotionally drained and physically exhausted, you will be more likely to have feelings of anxiousness.

After we have panic attacks, we’ll fell anxious for a while.  It’s during this time that we begin to be afraid of another panic attack.  This causes more anxiety and feelings of anxiousness.  Some methods will have you try to force yourself to be relaxed when you’re attacking anxiety and depression, but this can be very difficult to do and in some cases, it may not even be possible.

So maybe you’re wondering what you can do to stop yourself from overreacting to every situation and be in control of your life?  How can you keep from starting a panic attack?  The key to the cures for anxiety and cures for panic attacks lies more in teaching your mind not to react to false danger signals so that you can maintain control of your life.  By teaching yourself not to react to false signals, you will be able to stop your body from reacting to false dangers.

Humans possess the ability to give themselves to something completely and this is one of the most powerful tools in our psychology.  In other words, when we determine that we are going to do something, or get something, we usually get near immediate results.  Right now, we are going to aim for the goal of living an anxiety free life.

The good news is that you can turn the tables on your anxiety and chase it down.  You can end the anticipation of a panic attack and in doing that, you will be taking control of your anxiety and taking steps toward living an anxiety free life.

By standing up for yourself and telling your anxiety that you are not afraid, you will be effectively attacking your anxiety and with it, you will be squashing the depression that often accompanies your anxiety.  You are looking your anxiety in the eye and telling it that you are done “dealing” with it and you are taking your life back.  You’re becoming brave and it’s going to feel really good, so hang on tight.

Cures for Anxiety and Treating Panic Attacks

Social Anxiety Treatment: Controlling Panic Attacks in Social Situations

Last time we talked about gratitude, and I wanted to continue that conversation and how it relates to social anxiety treatment.  Lets continue with the exercise:

…..Some days, you might not feel the same way about some things as you do about others.  If you don’t get the glow from thinking of your children, that’s okay, some days you might not.  Focus instead on something else that makes you feel gratitude.  You’re after the feeling in your chest.  When you have this feeling, it offers you an unmistakable lightening of your emotional state.  You should feel your mood lighten immediately.  You should do this exercise alone so that you will be better able to focus and let the feeling last as long as you can.  Keep going until you feel you can’t keep it going any more.

This can take as much or as little time as you like.  You don’t have to put a time frame on it.  It’s not about how long it takes, but how well you establish the connection between your heart and your mind so that you can be more able to rid your mind of the anxiety that plagues it.

When you know how to do this well, you should make sure to practice it daily.  You can do it in the car (don’t close your eyes), at your desk, before you go to bed, or whenever you feel that you need a release of social anxiety.  With more practice, your heart will get used to feeling this way and be able to feel this way within moments after some time.

The more you learn to do this exercise, the easier you will find it is to use it whenever you’re feeling stressful and anxious.  When you take a couple of seconds to get the grateful feeling, you’ll begin to surprise yourself by the shift in your stress levels and the reactions of people around you.  By taking a couple of seconds to perform this exercise it can completely change the outcome of interactions in stressful situations.  You should especially practice this exercise before you walk into a social situation, or a conflict or misunderstanding between yourself and others.  Give it a try, but don’t give up if it doesn’t work for you right away.  Try it every day for two weeks and see if you notice a change in your ability of controlling panic attacks.

Hopefully you agree that this exercise is something that can be a worthwhile addition to your daily routine.  By making this one simple lifestyle change, you will likely find that you make improvements on your quality of life.  So take a moment to enjoy a free, simple gift in your life and see if you notice a change.

If it doesn’t work, you’ve lost nothing and if it does work, you’ve managed to gain a little bit of peace and well being in your ability to cope with social anxiety.

Social Anxiety Treatment and using Gratefulness to Cure for Panic Attacks

Anxiety causes us to feel top heavy, or bogged down by their constant worrying.  All the negative, worrisome thoughts have caused an imbalance of focus.  So, a person who suffers from social anxiety disorders can feel like they cannot focus on anything but their anxieties.  You can move out of this mental fog by focusing on your heart, instead of your head.  By deliberately shifting your attention to the way you feel, or your heart, you’ll begin to find that anxiety begins to slip away and your mental fog will slowly begin to clear.

If you’re not sure how to make the switch between mind and heart, start by feeling gratitude.  Make sure to acknowledge that which you are grateful for.  Maybe you’re doubtful, and I understand, but would it change your mind if I told you that it’s been scientifically proven that by regularly practicing gratitude can change your body chemistry so you feel more peaceful in your body and mind?

After 15 years of scientific research, the Heart Math Institute has proven that the art of gratitude can and does dramatically reduce stress and improve individual and organizations performance in their daily activities.  Fortune 500 companies are beginning to use the art of gratitude to reduce work related stress and a natural remedies for anxiety.  I will go over the technique with you briefly in one easy exercise to that you can begin practicing the art of gratitude today.  See if you don’t feel lighter and more peaceful by doing this exercise.  The idea is for you to gain a better sense of perspective in all areas of your life, including those that are troubling to you.  By focusing on your emotions, or your heart, you will feel your anxiety begin to lift from you.  This is also a major technique and cure for panic attacks.  This is one of the most effective social anxiety treatment available.

Before you begin this exercise, plan on being alone for a little while.

Close your eyes and pay attention to the area of your heart.
Imagine you feel that area begin to warm.  As it warms, imagine that you feel that warmth radiate outward into the room.  Place your hand where the warmth is.  Feel it glowing and giving off warmth for a couple of minutes.  This exercise is intended to melt away your social anxiety.  Focus on something in your life that you genuinely appreciate.  This can be anything, your family, for instance.  Focus on the things that really make you feel grateful.  If you really appreciate what you are focused on, you should feel a response from the area of your heart in the form of a warm sensation.  You might even smile.  As long as you get a warm feeling in your chest, it doesn’t matter what you think of.

This shouldn’t be something that you find yourself struggling with.  Just think of something that you are grateful for.  Maybe it’s your kids, your significant other your dog or cat.  It could be that you have a home.  Whatever makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.  We all have things to be grateful for, so don’t spend too much time searching, go with whatever pops into your head first.  We’ll continue this exercise in my next post.

Looking for A Social Anxiety Treatment? Effective Natural Cures For Anxiety

When you are fighting anxious thoughts, there is a very valuable tool that you may have never even considered.  It’s not a social anxiety treatment that is exactly mainstream yet, but it is more effective than many other techniques out there.  It is gratitude.

Gratitude is one of the best natural cures for anxiety.  Many people report feeling cut off from the world around them when they are battling anxiety.  It can be frustrating and distressing when you feel detached from reality, because you begin to fear that you’ll never feel normal again.  While this is common and in most cases, caused from anxious thinking, to the person who is experiencing it, the feeling can be nearly debilitating.

If you suffer from panic attacks or anxiety disorders of any kind, you probably spend a lot of your day monitoring yourself.  You might think, do I feel okay?  Are my thoughts okay?  You may even ask yourself if you feel edgy or secure.  This is something I refer to as “Checking In”.

By checking in, you are always making sure that you are feeling okay.  The reason people with anxiety disorders constantly check in with themselves is because anxiety is powerful and can affect both the mind and body.  Many people say that they can handle the anxious body, but the anxious mind is much more difficult for them to deal with.

When you suffer from anxiety, you might feel like your mind is surrounded by a thick fog.  Life is hard to enjoy because you’re always seeing the world through the anxious thoughts and feelings that surround you.

Anxiety can steal all the fun from your life and make you feel like you aren’t connected to the world and your life.  Maybe you’ve tried different social anxiety treatments, but none of them have worked.  Maybe you’ve not tried any before now.

Anxious thoughts block you from having fun and getting to fully experience your life.  When a person who suffers from anxiety disorder feels this way, it can cause them to feel separate from the world.

By feeling separate, they begin to feel isolated and this can be very distressing.  It becomes a cycle when you start to be afraid that you’re losing touch with yourself.
